The Italian Cuisine Week Opens in Tokyo

On 20th November, at the Italian Embassy in Tokyo, the second edition of the Italian Cuisine Week was inaugurated, with over 40 events scheduled in Tokyo until 26th November.

Symbol of this initiative is the ancient Roman protagonist of the famous manga by Mari Yamazaki Thermae Romae, who is depicted with a modern glass of wine for the occasion. The message is the continuity between tradition and modernity and also makes reference to the project "3000 Years of Italian Wine" which has brought to Tokyo 77 meetings dedicated to Italian wine. The events of the Italian Cuisine Week in Tokyo will also be recognizable by the logo, an Italian flag with waves, a symbol of the growth of Italian products in the world.
