From Sunday 22nd April to Thursday 26th april the International Olive Oil Competition, one of the most highly regarded in the field of extra-virgin olive oil, takes place in New York. A multinational jury of 18 will be in charge of the sensory assessment of nearly 1,000 olive oil samples from 27 countries of both the Northern and the Southern hemisphere. The competition will close with the announcement of the winning olive oils on Thursday 26th April, in the afternoon.
