Osaka: Seminar on Cirò Wine from Calabria


A seminar entitled “Cirò, One of the Oldest Wines in the World”, with the collaboration of the Italian Sommelier Association (AIS), will be held on 23rd November in Osaka.


Cirò is a Calabrian DOC wine, the first to have received the Controlled Designation of Origin in the region, in 1969. It is produced with native vines, such as Greco Bianco, Magliocco, Greco Nero, Gaglioppo.

During the seminar, the story of this wine will be told, already known at the time of the ancient Greek Olympics, and it will be possible to taste it.
